For amateur users: just lost more work randomly though. You should be weary of this happening to you also. I've returned to say that after refraining to use this app because of severe bugs, I decided to give it another chance. just lost more work when working with a mere 'two' layers. I know adobe could have addressed this by now. Hours of work lost. EDIT: working in landscape seems to prevent issues above. Shame I had to figure this out before adobe could.
