I'm using lgcamera pro on a Huawei Mercury (Gingerbread 2.3.6) and I'm able to get better quality photos and video vs. the stock app, the only downside some features require me to change them, exit the app & restart it for changes to take affect, other features dont work at all but this was expected (such as video stabilization mode). Still gave it 5 stars due to the ability to change the default audio encoder which vastly improves audio quality while recording videos.
